Cool Reading challange...

The post office always challanges the first graders to read 100 books each, and if they do they get a trophie. Well Christian hit 100 tuesday night and they lady from the Post Office will be coming in on wensday to present them with there trophies. He was so proud that he had to call Hammie as soon as he finished book #100.

That is so cool that they offer such a great challenge. Kudos to Christian for meeting the goal. What a proud moment it will be when he gets his trophey.

that is very cool!
I don't think the post office here does that.
But our local libraries do have a summer reading program that is pretty fantastic... lots of prizes for reading in the summer.

Very cool!

I haven't heard of the PO doing that here either, but Barnes & Nobel & the library have programs.

I am not sure if the PO pays for it or the lady that works at the PO but the kids have had different pics up all year, they make new pics every 2 months or so to be hung up there.
the closest Barnes and nobles id 75 miles away but we amy still try and do there book reading this summer. and our library does a very small program.
