so I'm not sure what was up, but Sarah was having some deep thoughts the other day while we were driving in the car.


She started by asking fairly simple questions...

Q: so why do we really NEED trees anyway?

I was giving her the long scientific answer...

then she works her way up to the big one.


Q: so who was God's parents? How did God get to exist? Did he get born? How did he get born if he has no parents and nobody else like him?


so I told her the only thing I could tell her. Those are good questions. Lets ask Pastor Jeff on Sunday when we go to church.



of course, wouldn't you know it, Sarah caught a nasty cold and I thought it prudent not to take her to church to get everyone else sick - so she stayed home with DH while I went (I had to teach sunday school).
And while I'm leaving to go to church, Sarah calls to me "Don't forget to ask about God's Parents!"


I think she's not going to let this one drop

Good luck with that one, We have the kids call grandma (MIL) with thoose ?'s as she works for a church

She is a very smart cookie and really thinks things through!! You'll have to let us know what the Pastor answers when she sees him ... like you said, I doubt she'll forget.

I would have done the same thing- when in doubt, ask the expert on the topic.
