So one of my Brownie parents called me up today because her daughter is home sick from school today with the stomach virus.
She told me that 2 of the other brownies in my troop were also home sick today with the same thing.
Tomorrow is a big Brownie Bash event that all our girls were supposed to be going to.
not sure if I want them attending even if they're feeling fine by tomorrow, kwim?

So I go to the school today at lunch (after talking with the GS mom) to give Sarah her afternoon booster ADHD medication.
And I'm sitting on the bench right next to the office.
Child after child was being sent to the office for the tummy virus.
The office admins were calling all the parents trying to find out what the 'symptoms' of each child was so that they could decide if it was one giant outbreak that the school needed to be shut down for.

I REALLY REALLY don't want anyone in my house getting sick. That's just one more thing I don't think I could possibly handle being put on my plate. We had our girl scout meeting (at my house) on Monday so I promptly grabbed the clorox wipes and went thru my house and wiped down every single surface in my house.
you think I'm a little paranoid maybe?

So far so good.
Sarah woke up saying her tummy hurt. But she ate her breakfast and has been perfectly fine all day
we went to the Brownie Bash and she was just fine. (and it's 2pm and is still fine)
so I'm hoping we can steer clear of this thing.

I talked to another of my Brownie Moms this morning, and she said in her DDs class of 24 kids... only 7 were at school yesterday
can you imagine???

only 3 of my brownies made it to the brownie bash today.
