  • and I'm a little worried about what the teacher will tell me.

today, when I dropped her off. She was in a bad mood (I was making her hurry up and she was working on her own time) so she had the folded arms... the heels dug in... and the pouty face.
the more I tried to hurry her, the more she dug in her heels (which is totally her style )

so I told the teacher "shes on her own time today" and the teacher said
    "oh no.".
and then she asks me if we'd taken her to counceling. I told her no, but we'd thought about it and since she's started her medication, that she's so much more wonderful now. She suggested that we could have the school councellor come in and observe her for a while and then talk to us.

now... what would you think if your child's teacher suggested that the councelor come in and observe your child??

  • We've met with our councellor a few times- it's less of a deal than you think. See what the teacher has to say tomorrow and go from there- the ultimate goal is for Sarah to succeed in school and be able to learn- what ever interventions that need to be put in place will only help her in the long run.
