Question Trick-or-treating Saturday or Sunday?

Our neighborhood has changed trick-or-treating to Saturday night, the 30th, claiming because Sunday is a school night. We're also in the Bible Belt, so I wonder how much of it is being influenced by church-goers. http://www.cnn.com/2004/US/10/15/hal....ap/index.html

Has anyone else's community changed Halloween to Saturday?

not even a consideration anywhere on the west coast!!
Halloween is always on the 31st. No matter what day of the week it is!

I wish they'd keep it that way, here, too. I think it's foolish to change it.

That is stupid. I am Christian and there is no need to bring in the devil to a childs activity. Those people who do, are extreamest and need a smack up side the head. It is all about getting dressed up and getting candy the kids don't even know that much about the devil unless the parents have brain washed them. Sorry for sounding extream on the other side of this issue. LOL

We are going out on Sunday and there are other activities for the kids during the next two weeks for those who don't let their kids go out trick or treating.
