Talking update on Sarah's back

yesterday we saw the neurosurgeon for her 6 week postop checkup.

the best news...
Sarah has regained her reflexes in her ankles!!
and the Dr said she has a hint of a reflex back in her knees but not quite
so I'm so freakin tickled pink about that!!

Her potty problems are not fixed yet, but we have seen improvement. So we're just taking it day by day.

we'll go back for another postop checkup in 6 weeks (beginning of February actually).
The Dr told me to bring in the scans of my back and she'd take a look at them while we were there so I'm excited about that.

so things are on track for a fairly full recovery and I'm just so freakin' excited!!

That is awesome news! Just think- by summer, you might have all of this behind you and the potty issues will be but a memory!
