Talking We're back from vacation!

We had an awesome time throughout our whole trip!

Of course, the highlight was meeting Bobbi (and Molly and Parker) on our way down. She's on Andrew's playgroup. It was awesome meeting them and we had such a great time.

Bobbi and I just chatted up a storm... my mouth was going a million miles a minute (when I could get a word in edgewise that is... ) and I could hardly contain myself.
Or, maybe that was me just trying to keep the kids from going head first into the creek

My husband was such a good sport too... he was there to pick up and go-fer, and clean up after the tornado mess known as... MollySarahParkerAndrew

After our 3 days camping down the beautiful redwood coast (those trees are just amazing!!!! )
We landed at our friend's house in Rohnert Park where we celebrated the 4th of July with them and their giant annual party.
Then off it was back home asap so Sarah could play soccer today.
We camped at the Castle Crags State park near Mt Shasta right off the freeway on the way home. Lets just say we won't be staying there again.
The mosquitoes were literally swarming us... and we had masses of bug spray all over us~! I think the Deet might actually attract these bugs!!
I got bit all over and there are a few places that are swelling up on me. (I tend to swell up from bug bites anyway so it's not a suprise that at least one of them is swelling abnormally)
But, I got a few bites on my right elbow area that are swelling up so bad, I think I'll be heading to the Dr tomorrow. It's about a 6-7 inch area around my elbow that is swollen. Every time I bend my elbow... it hurts like a massive bruise. And the swelling seems to be getting worse not better and it usually at least stops swelling by now..

I have a few pictures thus far:

Wow! That sounds like so much fun! Bobbi seems great, and glad you didn't kill her. (the post where her mom was worried about it)

That tree looks like a tight fit! That would be so neat to see though.

Nichole!

I went camping there as a wee little one with my dad's parents, we have a picture of their station wagon in the same tree! Looks like tons of fun, it's hot as blazes here- 35 days over 90 and today was 100 plus humidity. Between the heat and the mosquitos (I react the same way you do- BTW Jacob's swelling sounds similar- they called it cellulitous, a staph infection needing sulpher antibiotics to clear up) we tend to stay inside.
