Called back the OB for a last chance. I got to talk to a real person this time and made an appt for the 8th of September for an initial appt where they will draw blood, urine sample and all that stuff. She said that we'll need to do an U/S to date the pregnancy, but was a little confused as there isn't a tech scheduled yet for September, but they usually come in on Mondays. I guess we'll see when I show up!

i wish they could take you in sooner!

For UT this is sooner! I was so amazed that they got me in so quickly that I just wrote down the date! Most OB's here won't see you until 12 weeks unless you are having severe bleeding/possible miscarriage!

I told her I was high risk and didn't know the conception date or LMP, so they are getting me in "early"

It seems really late for the rest of the world though! I'm always jealous at people that get in at 5-6 weeks to check for a heartbeat and stuff. Its a little backwards here if you aren't seeing an RE to conceive.

I can't get in until 8 weeks. I hate waiting. My husband is even more impatient than me.
