  • So we had the half way mark ultrasound done on Monday. Of course they tell you to drink four cups of water or clear liquid at least an hour before hand. I only drank three and was DYING to pee by the time we got to the ultrasound place. The tech actually told me to go because I was WAY too full ( she said at the end of the appointment to only drink 1.5 cups next time). Anyway the tech did her scan, baby was cooperative and not all over the place like the twins were. And we STILL don't know what baby is. The tech didn't ask us if we wanted to know and I didn't ask because I knew I would cave. The photo we got shows baby sort of waving at us. We did find out that baby is weighing in at about 11 ounces right now and is about 14 cm. I am just happy to reach the half way mark!

With my first 2 I was way too full and she had me get up mid-ultrasound and go. So I got smart for number 3, and drank way less and it was fine.
Glad you had a good u/s.

  • Glad you had a good scan! It is exciting to hit the mid mark! Next week I hit that viability milestone and am so excited

For my U/S I was told I did not have to drink anything, and it was such a great experience (I remember with my other 2 being so uncomfortable with a full bladder).

You are so strong to not find out
