  • Just found out I'm pregnant with my 4th child and it's been 10 years since my last child was born. I've lost 11 lbs so far and have no morning sickness whatsover, my pre-prenancy weight was 148 and I'm 137 now. Can anyone tell me why this is happening? I don't even feel pregnant but I do work out 5 or 6 days a week.. Congratulations to you all with your new pregnancy!

  • I wouldn't worry about losing weight. I lost weight when I got pregnant with my 2nd. I just didn't have any appetite.

    Congratulations!

  • Hi, congratulations and welcome to TBC!

I can't tell you why, but I know with my 1st pregnancy, I lost weight in the beginning (before I found I was pregnant) and I wasn't working out back then. Eventually I wound up with gestational diabetes & lost a little weight when I first started the diet, but once my body adjusted I started gaining normally. My dd was not a large baby at all & everything esle was fine.

Now I work out about 2-3 times a week and I have maintained my weight so far. We'll see what the doc says at my appt next week.

  • Congratulations and welcome. I've heard it's normal to lose weight at the beginning of your pregnancy, though it never happened to me.
