  • (Im actually due in july, but I dont know how many people are over there)

So is anyone doing the ultra scrren - down syndrome and trisiotomy?
I never did the tripple screen with my others but My OB said this is a different /more reliable test so she really encouraged me to do it, she said the false positives are far less (thats why I didnt do the triple screen before) I still kinda wish I said NO but I did the blood work already and my U/S is in 2 weeks, I dont think the info really matters to me, Im not planning to abort the pregnancy. So just wondering what if anyone has any info or insight to this test. thanks

  • I chose not to have this test done simply because I wouldn't abort the baby based on the results... nor would I go through with an amnio either to confirm or deny any test results. (it carries a 1/200 risk of miscarriage, most of which turn out to be healthy babies)

  • We chose not to do any of that testing as well. We feel that God does not give us more than we can handle anyway.
