I'll have to remember that diaper changing routine. Luckily he hasn't peed on us since. My DH panicked when he started. I quickly pulled up the dirty diaper to cover him. I don't think my DH thought of ever getting peed on before then

My milk hasn't come in yet, but it starting to change I think. I had a very strong let down reflex with my girls and spent many months filling up cloth diapers full of fore milk.

I'm pretty sure the problem is his tongue. I put my finger in his mouth to evaluate his suck. He can just barely cover his bottom jaw with his tongue. I'm going to call the Ped on Monday and see if we can go in for a quick snip. My brother had the same thing and while he could BF barely, it really effected his speech and he spent yrs in ST learning to retalk. He came over today and said that the procedure was painless and he remembers it well. He said the yrs of ST was rough though and he'd recommend getting his tongue clipped at least before he starts learning to speak. I'm going to get it done soon so he can eat without getting all the air in him. He can't quite make the suction seal properly when he's BFing.

Laura, Owen was tongue tied. The midwife took care of it. He barely bled and he cries more for diaper changes. The midwife numbed him with baby orajel, which she also put in her own mouth to know when he was numb. These boys nurse all the time and I'm typing this one handed holding them both! Boys are just different than girls. You'll see!
