  • Last night I got home.. started getting dinner prepared.. the kids wanted Daddy to play etc.. but he says.. why don't we play a game.. blah blah.. so they start playing a game .. then he gets frustrated because they aren't paying attention and not really playing.. so he has a hissy fit and says that's it.. I'm done playing games.. (hello !?! they didn't want to play to begin with you practically forced them)
    So that set me off

Then I went with something easy for dinner because I was tired.. well that was apparently a mistake.. I pulled it out at the alloted time and the chicken wasn't cooked.. Chloe is screaming because she's starving.. Aedan says he won't eat it.. and DH looks at it like it's got legs.. So needless to say the tears start.. I get it back in the oven (checked the box...I was supposed to cook it an additionl 10 minutes uncovered
) So.. it's in the oven AGAIN..I wash the kids cups from the day and the travel mugs and coffee pot.. Chloe's crying , I'm crying.. DH is watching TV and Aedan is playing.. It's done.. I take it out.. give some to Chloe who screams because she doesn't want the noodles.. Aedan has his arms crossed and refusing to eat..DH is attempting to eat with a look of disgust on his face.. I'm still crying, cutting the kids food up and trying to eat.. Finally Chloe is cool and eating. I'm eating.. Aedan is done and so is Jim.. so it's just me and Chloe at the table.. and just FYI.. it tasted good to Chloe and me.

So Jim cleans up Aedan and his plates etc. and then he does the dishes.. I guess trying to be the good guy..too little too late you jerk.

That was only part of my night.. there were no more tears but gosh it wasn't much better.

    I hate days like that.

You know how my day was at work / Dr. I was emotional and my back was killing me and Randy KNEW this cause I told him. Oh and let's don't forget he has not been home a single night (other than w/e - doing taxes BTW) to play with the kids. Guess what the jerk did - He cleaned out the office files.
I had to cook, bathe and put the kids to bed.
Then he acted like it was big deal when I told him to rinse the dishes and put them in the dishwasher which was 3 freaking bowls and 2 cups.

  • No problem.. this can be the poor me thread for the day.

Luckily Jim did do the dishes and went grocery shopping... but then the jerk spent most of the night either coughing or snoring.. his shoulder is probably bruised today from me punching him
