Default ? about staple removal

I go in about an hour from now to get my staples removed.

I must sound like the biggest baby, but does it hurt to get them removed? What type of after care am I looking at?

I missed ds#1's baseball ceremonies this past weekend, so I desperatly want to go to his first game tonight....Im hoping that the staple removal will not put be back a week in healing progress.

Im normall not this big of a baby.

I had traditional stitches and she removed them after about a week and it just felt like a little tugging on the skin not painful at all. The worst part was in the healing process it started itching a bit but no special care and it felt better because it didn't feel like it was going to pull apart at the seams.

Nah it doesn't hurt much...maybe a little tug for each and the staple holes heal faster than stitches usually so it won't be a reason to keep you from doing anything.

The little contraption they used to take them out scared me a bit, but it wasn't too bad. I ws 100% right after.

I'm a big baby and it wasn't bad so you should be fine. Like Susan said, more of a tugging than a pain. I must say I did prefer the dissolvable sutures I had with my second c-section though. LOL! Staples just seem so "office supply store" to me. LOL!
