well, the hormone in BCPs is the same hormone that you get when you're pregnant - and you do remember how your emotions get the better of you in your first trimester, right??
This is what I was going to suggest.
BCP usually trick you're body into thinking it's pregnant, and when we're pregnant, we get all emotional.

I'm on BCP because of abnormal bleeding and the doctor thinks it might help, and I haven't experienced that, yet. I do get irritated easily, though.

I could never take the TRI pills where the dose changed every week. They made me feel crazy. I would go from sad to happy to angry to feeling almost insane. The dr had to put me on a low dose of estrogen to make me feel better. Good luck! Not everyone's body can handle all of the changes of hormones each week.

I'm going to have to call. First off they made me really nauseated. Now this-- I snapped at pretty much my whole family at dinner tonight. Something needs to be done.

And... it does feel like when you're pg-- like you know you're doing it (well right after I snapped I knew I shouldn't have) but you can't help it.

I hope you can get it figured out.
Maybe try asking for a different BCP?

THe update is... i called the doctor's office and they said that it can take up to 3 months to get used to new pills. She said that if I really wanted to that they could take me off right then, or I could wait till next month. I'm almost finished with this pack, and I told her I'd be willing to try it for one more month.

She was really nice and said that week 3 if I start feeling that way to call right away and they'll switch me to something else.
