I try to stay "in the middle"...

I HATE being in the right hand lane 'cause I'm always afraid someone is going to CRASH into me entering or exiting... and the there are some real a$$hole drivers in Ma$$achusetts who stay in the left lane & go 80+mph.
I usually don't HAVE to pass people since everyone around here drives so fast... but if I do have to pass... I try to do it on the left... not always possible though!!

I drive on the right and pass on the left. I tend to move into the middle lane when I am coming up to a busy interchange. If I am in the middle I have passed on the right because some people are clueless. Many a time you have people driving side by side blocking the two lanes and you don't have an option.

in japan, we drive on the left. i usually stay in the right lane (in a four lane road). and i have no idea if it's illegal to pass on the left, because people do it all the time! i find the real danger is from scooters and mini-motor bikes. scary!

On the 2 lane highways I pretty much drive in the left the whole time because there are so many rigs and farm vehicles around here, it's almost impossible not too. When I'm on a 3 lane road, I still prefer the left lane, but usually drive in the middle.. and I will ride someone's butt until they get the hint, rarely do I pass on the right... and I don't like the right lane because I'm afraid someone is going to hit me coming an exit!
