I just throw them all in together and wash them on cold. It would take me all week to do the laundry if I seperated anything. The only thing that gets washed seperately is DH's work jeans. They always smell like Diesel Fuel so I dont mix anything in with them.

I agree with how much of which it has answer. More white wash with whites, more black wash with colors. I separate by weight on everything but whites. Delicates and lightweight clothes are one load, t-shirts and pajamas are next, jeans are a separate load but I sometimes throw sweats in too if it's a small load. Then towels, sheet and blankets. All my white stuff is thrown in one load. Oh and Joseph's stuff is all seprate right now but will join our stuff when he's older.
