Default Anyone else use the Toy's R Us wishlist registry?

We took the kids yesterday and this is the third year we've done with with Christmas.

We make it VERY clear that they are not getting anything that day, this is just a list for Santa. They give you the barcode scanners and we take the kids around and scan the items they/we want for thier Christmas lists. Then we print out the list, and tell them the store will email the list to Santa (sounds wierd to me to email Santa, but the kids don't bat an eye).

It's really cool because you or whoever is buying can order offline, see the price, and see the location in the store of the items.

I think it is a great idea! Since it is just us getting gifts for the kids, we just do the plain old letters to Santa, but that would be really handy with extended family shopping too.

How old are your kids? I normally just make up a wishline online. I feel mine will be scanning everything they see.

Yeah, I think mine would scan the entire store.

I should make up an online list for the kids but I never have done that. I have my own Amazon wishlist but I use that just as a reminder to myself.

I think its cute that they email to Santa.
