baseball clinic for a 4yo?

  • I just got a flyer for a baseball clinic through the same place we signed up for t-ball. It's for kids 14 and under. Should I send Josh? It says parents can stay and observe. It's from like 12-2, so only 2 hours.

I'm sure he doesn't "need" to go, but he knows absolutely nothing about the game of baseball/t-ball, and I wonder if it might be good for him? Or is he too young to get anything out of it? He will be 5 in April.

  • I think it could be fun. I'm not a big fan of baseball but I like the social aspect of games like that.

  • I would probably check with the people putting it on to see if there's a minimum knowledge/skill level/age. Four is on the young side for a sports clinic, but it could be fine, depending on the child and the approach.

  • That's what I thought.. you have to call to register so I thought we could just call and ask.
