Default Concert at Darien Lake-at 7 months preggers

Friends of ours are going to an open air concert at Darien Lake. We're considering going with them and making it a one last short weekend trip before the baby but I will be 7 months along by then. Do you think it would be too risky to go? I'm worried about the crowds, especially after the concert.

Did you go? or is it upcomming?
I don't think there is any problem especially at an outdoor concert where you could move if it seems too loud or crowded. Either leave early to avoid the rush or stay until most of the crowds have left. I'd only be worried about bathroom lines. Maybe bring a few Poise pads just in case.

It's still a few weeks from now but I think we'll pass this year. I was at a sports event yesterday and everything was organized really well but I still felt I needed to check the exits and we left earlier than everyone else.

Hopefully we'll make up the fun we missed this summer next year

I think it would be fine. I went to concerts and sporting events when I was pregnant--and I was high-risk.

I don't see any reason why you couldn't go. You definitely won't be able to take Baby with you after he/she is born because it's too loud. But it might be kind of fun for Baby to be at a concert before birth---that sound and your dancing could be quite stimulating and a great experiance for Baby. There's no physiological reason why you can't go--most OB's recommend exercising and getting out all the way until the end of pregnancy as long as you can tolerate it so there isn't a physiological reason why you can't go.

I say GO!!!

Lol rock on girl!

My biggest worry is sometimes people drink alot and go crazy and I wouldn't want to find myself in such a crowd. Especially at the exits. I always thought myself as a tough girl but I'm learning to be dainty for the last couple of months

I just don't want to put the baby in any kind of distress. I know I worry too much but I have less than 4 months to go and I might as well lay low till then.
