Default double stroller for tall toddler

I am doing my research for when baby 2 is able to go out and about. I don't want a font/back stroller as I have a small car trunk-the side by sides seem to fold smaller.
DD is only 2 but she is over 3 feet tall. We were looking at the baby jogger city mini,

but her head hits the sun shade when folded up and not needed, so that one is out. We are thinking of the bob revolution double since I run too, (and my parents are buying it and are ok with the $$$).

Any other ideas?? I want to be able to use it for shopping trips and walks around the neighborhood, parks, etc.

I think you probably have to just go into the stores with a tape measure & check them out.

How about the Sit & Stand? (Do they still make that?) Its not good for jogging though, but jogging strollers aren't so good for shopping.

I think Baby Jogger makes one of the tallest seat backs?? What about the city classic double? We had a city classic (single) and ds Ryan (7) could fit in it and had head room to boot.
We also had the double revolution and it worked well. They are very popular and well liked by consumers.

I'm using a BOB sport utility right now and ds 4 (44" tall) has about a inch or two to grow before his head will touch the canopy.
Hope this helps.

I know you said you want a side by side, but i have the grado duo-glider and my kids are huge. It fit in the back of my rendezvous and my grand am. Good luck!

I have a baby trend sit n stand plus (it has the back seat that is removeable so she can stand instead.) It really isn't too bulky - it fits in the back of my mazda 626 just fine. That is definitely something your dd will fit in and even grow into. I wouldn't say it's the greatest stroller ever, but it's held up pretty well for us.
