Default finding books to read

How do you decide which books to read? Do you take suggestions from friends or read from the best seller list, do you stick to one author? I am in a rut and having trouble getting into a reading groove and was curious as to how everyone chooses books.

I've gone through all the John Grisham books recently.... and now I don't know what to read. I usually pick an author and read all their books and move on

I just head to the library and head to the fiction section and look for something that sounds interesting. I read the back, and check it out.
