Default Getting the Spark Back/ Spicing Things Up

My wife recently made the comment that she sometimes feels like "parents/roomates"! It was made sort of as a joke but I think we both do feel that way to some extent. I mean we have three kids that are in school right now and Leslie and I both have a few outside activities.

This got me thinking, I made a list of my personal priorities and it goes like this:
1. Wife/Kids
2. Close Friends
3. Extended Family
4. Social/Religious organizations
5. Work.

Now if I make the list reflect the the time spent on those 5 per day it is almost the exact reverse!

So my question to you guys (especially those with more than one child) is what do you guys to to make sure you are really spending quality time with your spouse? What do you do to keep things interesting? I think we both want to feel more wanted/loved/needed than we currently do. It just seems that so often at the end of the day there is no time left for "us", and a lot of time when there is we end up talking about the kids!!!!!!

We are in that same boat right now. We want our children to have every opportunity that is availbel to them, but it is running us all ragged and my dh and I never see each other. Our time spent list looks a little different because we do not even have social, friends, or religious time available.

We decided that we were going to try a "activity jar". We both write down 10 activities (anything from movie, game, massage, sexual stuff, etc.) that would take around an hour. Now our plan is to at least twice a week (instead of watching Jeapardy and talking about the kids) we're going to draw an activity out of the jar and do it.

Ok as I love Jeopardy and everybody knows its my mommy time that would never get cut I will suggest spicing it up. For every answer you/she gets right the other has to pay up in some romantic way..massage, oral, etc..
