My oldest stepson has told us he doesn't a house full of stuffed animals so we are not supposed to buy his DD any. My stuffed animals were my best friends growing up! So just because he said that, I am going to buy her a stuffed toy every year but I want it to be something more than a stuffed animal.

1st year I got her a glowworm-type thingy
Last year she got a pillow pet (and I thought it was so funny she would not let go of it at the family Xmas party

)
Any suggestions for this year? She will be 3 1/2 in Dec.

What about an Ugly Doll? They are really ugly but Joseph (2.5) has expressed interest in them. I think they range about 20-25 bucks and I've seen them at TRU and somewhere else(Target or Kohl's). Or Kohl's as stuffed animals that go with a book and a portion of the purchase price goes to a charity.

I've never seen Ugly Doll. Doodle bear is a good idea if its what I think it is and I've seen the books/animals at Kohls - may end up with that because I know its not much $.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Webkinz are fun. My girls like them and we didn't let our middle DD do the computer part until she was 4. There are lots to choose from and you can find lots of variety on Amazon.

Cabbage Patch Dolls are making a comeback now, too. They make my

swoon.

I like the Care Bear idea, too.

Does she like any particular character? You can find dolls to match most favorite characters these days on Amazon or eBay. That would be a hit with her, for sure!

and remember to come back and let us know what you decide to get!
