I normally just bring in cookies for the girls teachers....I did buy a gift for our neighbor down the street who has been taking and picking Kaitlyn up from school...along w/ Nicole, twice a week. I got her a nice lighted snowglobe for under $15...I dont give anything to trashmen or mail carriers....

This year I'm baking bread from scratch for teachers (Marek has 2. Lukas has 3 teachers, 2 paraprofessionals and 2 therapists at school). Because Lukas's teachers and staff do SO MUCH for him, I will also give the teachers $25 Target gift cards and the rest of the staffers who work with him $15 Target gift cards.

We don't give anything to garbage/recycling/mail/
newspaper people, although they always seem to give a card with their names and addresses this time a year to solicit for gifts. Since when should you get a gift for doing a job that does not provide any particular service above and beyond?

Umm no. Our mail person and trash collector both SUCK at their job on a daily basis. I'm not rewarding their pitiful attempt to keep a state / county job with nice benefits when someone more deserving should have it.
