  • That is how I got a kitten that my parents still have. When we were dating DH and I told them that we found it in the street near his house. When I moved out they kept the cat who is 15-16 years old now.

I have since confessed. We got it out of the local newspaper and went & picked it up.

  • I have a cat that needs rescusing. I can Delta her to you and you could plead the case that she is going to be put down if we do not find a home.

  • I would just go get a kitten. If you and the kids want it, then majority rules!!! I don't beg for what I want.

suggestion -- I might get a bit of an older cat --- then you could claim it's had all the shots, you'd know it's temperment and it would be cheaper from the pound --- an economical pet rescue!!!

  • We are at my parents house and they have my cat (17 years old and going on her last days) and my brothers dog... I think i will ask DS all the way home if he likes the cat and I'm sure he will talk to his Dad about it... I'll bet we have a cat or kitten by Christmas!

    We'll see!
