 @ Rudi.

I use to have a subscription and read it for years. It's fluff crap.

Honestly you'll hate those magazines on a whole different level when your standing in line and your child can READ the cover out loud!

Not specifically Cosmo but random adult billboards, condom , pregnancy / rape crisis center ads and magazines.

They read it outloud and you KNOW the next thing is they are going to ask something you don't want to answer especially in public or in front of younger kids.

Maxim should be behind the counter as well. We get free subscriptions to a bunch of magazines, and Maxim has to be recycled or hidden immediately upon arrival. We were away and had our old neighbors picking up our mail. DH was so embarrassed that we had a Maxim in the mail when our neighbors saw it. LOL!

Cosmo used to have only one or two fluff sex articles back in the day. I too read it in high school when I had no idea what any of it really meant. I did however grow up thinking I would be working in Manhattan and having LOTS of dates. LOL!

Heck, even my fitness magazines that used to be strictly about exercise and health are loaded with sex articles anymore. I have to tuck those away as well. Even the cover model looks more like a Swimsuit issue than a fitness mag.
