Default How do you organize your music cds?

I'm spring cleaning early and want a better idea how to organize my music cd's. I rarely listen to them, so would love a more compact way to keep them for when I do want them.

DH has a HUGE CD collection that he loves. It used to take up two bookshelves and he alphabetized them all. Last Christmas I bought him a hard drive and he ripped all of his music onto it. Then he put all of his CD's in those big black binders. He now has two HUGE ones full. The CD cases are in two or three "fed ex" boxes inthe basement storage.

Now his collection only takes up half of one bookshelf and it is neat and orderly. I also joked with him that if God forbid there was an emergency he could grab them and they'd be safe. LOL!
