  • The other post got me wondering.

How do you all pay for your items? Do you use cash or a debit card? Anyone still writing checks? Or do you use a credit card? Anyone have a rewards credit card? What kind?

  • We pay all of our loans and utilities right out of the checking account online. Anything else we use our Expedia credit card for and pay off at the end of the month. We get great deals by using it and a free companion ticket with each airline ticket purchased over $299 so it works out great for us plus we earn points and can use those for tons of stuff including lots of money off hotels.

  • We mostly use our debit card or pay cash. DH does have a Mastercard that he uses for emergencies and a CC for Best Buy. Checks are only written if that is the only option....which is on some bills.

  • We pay bills on-line. All other purchases are usually paid with cash (sometimes debit). I very rarely use checks anymore.
