  • What's the best way to clean the inside of a humidifier? I think mine has a bit of mold in the area that holds water. Unfortunately there is no way to take it apart so I can scrub inside that area so I need some way to clean it so it's usuable again. Any suggestions? Would bleach work well and be safe?

  • I think I'd mix a solution of vinegar and water first. IF that doesn't work then a tad bit of bleach with water. And then run clean water through it several times before using it.

make sure to let it soak for about 15 to 20 minutes too.

  • They sell a cleaning solution at Walmart that is strictly for humidifiers.

  • I've seen the cleaning solution at Target, too. I'd think that vinegar would work just fine.
