Default Ideas for 1st birthday party??

Ryan's first birthday is a week from Saturday (gasp!) and I am trying to thing of some fun things to do at this party. It will most likely be cold so outdoor stuff is probably out. We will have a few kids there that are between the ages of 1 year-6 years so I would like to have some fun things to do, but I don't know what!!!

HELP!!!

maybe a craft or art station? scavenger hunt around the house?

I've never been to a 1 year b-day party where there was activities- it is always about the baby turning 1, lol! I didn't have any special activities at Kendall's 1st party either. At her 2nd b-day, I had her and her guests (several of my friends have lil ones around the same age) do a painting craft that was related to the theme of the party. (they painted paper-plate fish for an under the sea party)

Coloring pages might be fun and also relatively unmessy.

Go to a Michaels or AC Moore and get the foam door hangers or something and let them make one.

Go fishing game can be set up pretty easy and it's fun for little ones. Use a curtain rod / shower curtain and just have them use a pole with a paperclip.
