I'm rarely late more than 10 minutes.
I've only been made to reschedule once in all my years.

I've never been late without me calling to reschedule because the timing just wasn't right. I don't think my Dr would make me reschedule unless I was over 30 minutes late though.

My dentist office and dh's pcp would make us reschedule for sure, BUT you rarely wait more than a few minutes for your appointment so that's fine with me.

OTOH, the ob's office and the kids pediatrician's office are always way, WAY behind and you wait FOREVER to get in there, so if they asked me to reschedule due to being a couple minutes late, I would hit the roof. I've never waited less than an hour at the ped's office. They're the best practice in town though so I put up with it.

Last time I was at the ob/gyn they actually called me and moved my appt from 1:45 to 12:15. I busted my a$$ to get there at 12:15, and at 1:45, I was still sitting in the waiting room. OOHHHHH for the first time ever I complained-- I was so mad.

My gyno office was like that I I think its just plain rude of the office to do that to you! I started calling ahead of time to see if the doc was running on time and they'd give me attitude!

Now I usually try to book the 1st appt of the day.
