How is the puppy doing? What are you doing about potty times?

Do you mean me?

If you do, thank you for asking!

The puppy is aDORable! She has grown so much already! She is doing ok with the housebreaking, or rather we aren't screwing it up too badly. It's working out pretty well with the potty times-- I take her for a walk every morning before school. She's with dh basically until 130, and then the ILs or I are here by mid afternoon to let her out again.
The biggest challenge with her is that she "plays" with the kids and us by biting with her little needle-like baby teeth. Matthew handles it great and just pushes her off gently and gives her a toy, but Josh totally freaks out and starts jumping all over, which of course she interprets as playing, so she gets even more excited/jumpy/nippy. We are working on it though, and she's coming along.

Originally, Josh was the one who hardcore wanted a puppy, but it's been great for Matthew too. I made it so feeding and watering her is only something he gets to do-- I told him "nobody knows how to do it like you do." He rarely complains and even checks himself to see if she needs more. He doesn't mind how hyper she is. It's great for Brady because he loves to play outside in the mud, and Gracey will spend lots of time out there with him just inspecting everything.

We start puppy obedience school near the end of January.

Yes silly I mean you!

Its great that she is fitting in so well with the family, expecially Matthew. I like the way you told him he does the best job at feeding/watering. Hopefully she'll settle down soon enough so Josh won't be afraid of her. My MIL got a baby beagle once and was scared to death of the adorable little puppy. She gave it away after 2 wks.
