Default Karyotpe testing and concerns

For those of you who had it done, how long did it take to get your "results"?
I know its all based on the doctor and lab but looking for a general idea.
Also say there is something "wrong" with the chromosones, can they fix that?
I know it sounds like a stupid question but of course I didn't ask the doctor when I went.

Also on a seperate note...with the Heprin and asprin. Is it just regular asprin or is it "special"? Is Heprin different from asprin or the same?
These questions sound so silly but I figured I should ask.

I also no that everybody is different but if someone has a chromosone "problem" is it something that you could see in that persons sibblings?
The doctor is pretty sure that its not me since I have two kids so the turn is on dh for the chromosones. His sister had a child and has no issues. Dh and his sister have the same mother and father.
I know Im grasping at straws right now and I NEED to talk to trusting RE but well you ladies have all the REAL experiance and kind of need some guidence.
