Default Kids & tummy aches & missing school

What do you do with a stomach ache? I don't know if they really feel cruddy or its just an excuse to stay home from school!

Unfortunately my girls have no interest in earning the perfect attendance award!

I don't know what I would do really. I think you have to evaluate the individual situation. I know my friends son has pulled this a few times so now their rule is if you're too sick to go to school you're too sick to play video games, TV etc. He can read in bed or nap but that is all.
He hasn't had a tummy ache in a long time.

Most definitely. If you're too sick for school you get to stay in bed, rest, and get better!
