Default Need Baby Ryan advice!

The poor little guy is teething really bad so it is waking him up in the middle of the night. He then SCREAMS and screams because he wants a bottle to soothe him, but we are trying not to do that because then he wants one every time he wakes up which can be every two hours. I feel so bad because I know his teeth are coming in, but we don't want to encourage bad sleep habits either. I was just to the point where i was going to try not feeding him at all a night because I think it just confuses him. To sometimes cry and get a bottle and other times not. I would think that if we just didn't feed him he would get the picture. I don't really think he's all that hungry because lately he doesn't finish the bottles. I am just not sure what to do! Advice please!!! TIA!!!

Poor little man.

Will he take a pacifier?
What about those teething rings you can freeze (do they even make those anymore?)

If you think it will pass in the next few days, maybe a small dose of tylenol to get him through the night? I hate medicines for the most part, but if he's really in pain and it is causing him to lose sleep it might be worth it.

Check with your ped. They might have some better ideas.

thanks everyone- he does use a pacifier and we had been giving him tylenol. Last night we gave him advil and he had a MUCH better and normal night. I think the tooth must have come through so he's feeling better. Phew!!!
