I'm confused by the answers...Do you have anything nice to say about your pets? Be proud of them!! I can't even say there name without a smile.

ETA - I just realized that may have come off rude, not intentional AT ALL!! Just love hearing about your pets

We have a lemon beagle named Snoopy. He is a great dog (except for when he tore a ligament in the summer and had to have $1500 surgery!!) He is about 5 and has been with us since we moved into our house. He is also super good with the kids in our family (my dd and my niece and nephew who are a bit over 1 yr).

We have four dogs and a cat (we had five dogs, but lost one a few months ago

). We have a mini weenie (he's 13 and has arthritis, but is hangin' in there) a pug/chihuahua mix, a rat terrier, and a mixed breed (Schnitzel, Theo, Kramer, and Candy). I had the three little ones and DH had the two larger ones when we met so we had FIVE! Let us know what happens when your doggie- we love ours VERY much and it is hard when they start to age. Our Weenie is now on prednisone for his arthritis (it's pretty bad) and that will kill his kidneys so this may be his last Christmas with us. He was my first dog as an adult and I have a really hard time thinking about losing him. Hopefully your doggie's problem isn't too bad and can be fixed- our pug/chi has a weird growth on his toe that the vet told us he would need surgery for, but he was on pain meds and antibiotics for a week and he's as good as new. Good luck and keep us posted!

We have one dog, Skyy, 4 yr old a female American Bull Dog/Pit mix. We adopted her about 3 years ago. She was our daughter before we had dd, but she has made the adjustment pretty well. Our dd LOVES our dog & Skyy is great with her, lets her crawl all over her & pull on her ears. Sometimes Skyy acts like she is going to start to "play" with dd like she does with Dh-roughly! But we put a quick stop to that! Skyy just doesn't understand the difference in size I think.

TBC has a board dedicated to talking about our fur-babies, but it hasn't seen much action lately! And I know I am guilty; my life revolves around dd now!
