Does anyone have any reviews or opinions on the mini-pill/progestin only pill. I was to have my IUD inserted today but my son is sick and honestly something keeps popping up so that I can't keep my appointments. My Dad had a heart attack, then the mother that car pools with us was in the hospital, now Milo is sick. I'm starting to think someone is trying to tell me not to get it. LOL!

I have heavy bleeding so we are hoping to give this one a whirl. I'm hoping it will work but not betting on it.

I have been on really high dose progesterin the last year and a half and it took my cycle away completely. I'm hoping this pill will at the very least lessen the bleeding a bit.

I was on the POP pill because I was nursing my son and I took it to stop my periods also since I have PCOS. it worked just fine. The only thing I didn't like to much was that it's such a low dose that you really have to take it at the same time everyday or with an hour or 2 or it it could become ineffective. I was bad about forgetting it so I put it by my toothbrush so I would see it every day and remember. the last 2 months I was on it though my periods started showing up anyways so I just quit taking it.

if you're going to take the mini pill you'd better make sure you set an alarm for when to take it! The docs around here won't prescribe it unless you're nursing a baby because so many people get pregnant while taking it because they're just not taking it at the exact same time every day.

Thanks guys. If it means the difference between bleeding and not bleeding I am taking it ON TIME! LOL!
