Default Pumpkin pie crust

Leanna wants to make pie from a fresh pumpkin. I found a recipe that's simple enough but that's all I'm capable of - I'm not making the crust from scratch too!

So I don't even like pumpkin pie so I can't remember...do they use regular crust or graham cracker crust in pumpkin pie? And if its the regular kind, is the frozen or the dry kind better?

A regular pie crust. you could get one in the frozen section of the grocery store and then just add your filling and bake together otherwise you could also get a pie crust from the refrigerated section of the grocery store by the pillsbury rolls, croissants etc., all you would have to do is put it into a pie pan at home. They would both work. Just remember not to prebake the crust without the filling in it.

I make the pumpkin pie recipe on the can of Libby's pumpkin. I buy the pie crust (deep dish not graham cracker) found in the freezer section. It is sooooo yummy!!

I have to tell you- if you use fresh pumpkin it won't be very good
 
. For some reason the canned is soooo much better. I have used frozen crust and made fresh using my mom's recipe, but the frozen is just so much easier!
