doesn't sound like an allergic reaction at all.

Sounds like either a virus rash (like hand/foot/mouth is one that causes a rash, roseolla is another)

or its a heat rash (which sounds unlikely because of the raised white spots.

my niece has something like that right now and the doctor told my sister it was yeast rash. The doctor said that you have to put lotrimin AF on it even when it looks like it's going away because it will come and go and come again until you get rid of it completely. sometimes soaps or lotions can aggravate it and make it itchy and more red and raised too.

No clue -- I'd go to the doctors before trying to treat it at home.

I look at it like the $15 copay is well spent if it keeps us out of the emergency room!

It's so weird... it comes and goes... in different spots...I guess I'll call the pediatrician tomorrow.
