  • Honestly, in my opinion, i guess it depends on the type or intensity of the storm thats brewing..
well if you leave in a place where electricity/ power supply is bound to be turned off incase of even if it rains a little bit... i feel it isnt too safe to give a baby bath.. just for a simple reason that.. a slippery bathroom isnt the safest place to be with a lil child in the dark....slipping over a lil soap.. etc would create a bad scene!!! I wouldnt take that risk..

  • I wouldn't think that it would be a huge risk. I know some people get freaked out because you shouldn't go swimming when there's a storm, and then they think it's being wet that's the danger.

In reality, lightning is attracted to the quickest and easiest route to ground, normally through the tallest object it can find. Problem when you're swimming in a lake/ocean, YOU become the tallest thing and the quickest route to ground.

I'm sure there is some risk of electrocution if you're bathing inside your house.. but it's likely not as high as being on the phone during a lightning storm.

  • Wow, girls!!!
    Thanks for all the info!!

I guess I'll be a bit more careful from now on. With my luck, I'd be getting the big zap in the tub.
