  • The other bed thread got me wondering if you manage to sleep in your bed the entire night...i.e..DH snores. Unfortunately, very rarely do I wake up in my own bed. I use to nudge DH all the time, but that rarely wokes. I dont bother him anymore and Im usually on the sofa by 1am.

  • I'm on the sofa alot also. Sometimes I'll fall asleep there & sometimes I move later. If I don't move out there before, I'll go when DH gets up at 4:30 so his noise doesn't keep me up. I can't always fall back to sleep though.

Also, Rachel wakes up every few nights & if I don't squeeze into her bed with her we both end up on the sofa. She is getting better though because if she wakes me up she has to go to bed early the next night...although sometimes I don't enforce it because I know she is sleepwalking.

  • I don't sleep all night through but I do stay in bed. DH snores but I nudge him, poke him in the back, or kick him in the shins and he turns over.

The few times I have gone off to the couch, Dh has woken up all upset.

  • Where I work nightshift, I usually wake up around 2am... go downstairs, fiddle around for a few hours and then come back to bed. Neither of us ever sleeps on the couch. We always sleep in the bed. If Mike starts snoring I just poke him or kick him until he rolls over.
