Cool thanksgiving tradition

Do you have any traditions that you do for thanksgiving??
What do you HAVE to have to eat to make it feel like TG??
It looks like it will just be the 5 of us for turkey day then my dad brother, & in laws will be up to go hunting. But I want to expand our dinner to more then just turkey, stuffing, mashed tatos, gravy, pumpkin pie, apple pie & cheese cake.

My kids are plan old weird. They eat no meat or potatoes. They at least will eat pumpkin pie but other than that it is a normal food day for them.

I do make a turkey for DH and I and mashed potatoes, corn, rolls, green beans are our traditional foods.

For dessert I like to do one other treat beside pie. This year it looks like I'm going to try the pumpkin cheesecake cupcake recipe I found in a magazine. Sounds yummy and my kids love pumpkin and cheesecake. LOL!
I just wish they would eat some Thanksgiving food. Makes it feel like any other day when I still have to serve mac n cheese or pb and j. KWIM?

We always have a big family dinner..well actually 2! One at my parents and one at DH parents. We have the traditional TG foods...Turkey, Dressing, Mashed Potatoes, Crockpot Mac&Cheese, Green Beans, Rolls and Pie!!! I have to have all these things or it just isnt TG lol. But this year I am adjusting the way that I eat so I will have to recreate some of these things.

Love too...but I will have to ask DH to make sure it is right.(He's the cook lol) It will be this afternoon when I ask.
I know you put 16oz box of shells, 1 can evap milk, one can cheddar cheese soup, *I think* 4C of shredded cheese, 1/2 milk and let cook until noodles are done. About 3-4 hours. BUT let me ask DH before you write it in stone, cause the amounts may be a little off.
