DS has more toys than he can ever play with. Most of the time he doesn't even play with them anymore. He's about to turn 9 and his maturity level is off the charts, I think he's about to outgrow toys soon. I usually go through his toys once or twice a year and throw out the broken ones, and donate the good ones to salvation army or families in need off of craigs list. Since he quit playing with his toys, I have started buying him other things that he likes such as games, science kits, building sets, paintball stuff (that's his new big thing, he plays with DH on the weekends). Now I've just had to get creative and stop buying him things that will just sit around and take up space. Now I have the new baby, but they are so far apart in age that it seems like a hassle to save DS's old toys for him because it will be forever before he could play with them.
