Oh, I've never watched NCIS Los Angeles, just the original NCIS but I'm assuming they are about the same.

I've never watched NCIS or CSI but if there's exposure to the kinds of stuff that Jeanne reports, I'd probably try to keep him away from it.

As far as Survivor goes, while the tactics and "game playing" are fun and logical, I don't know if a 10-year-old has enough frontal lobe development to separate the logic from the amount of skin and innuendo on that show. Last week they got their swimsuits and they devoted 10 minutes of the show to parading the people around in their skimpy two-piece swimsuits. That's a lot of stuff for a 10-year-old to see. I don't think I'd let Alex watch it if it he were Brent's age.

Hmm.. I didn't think about that. Seems like nowadays, you can't go to Wal-Mart or the local street fair without seeing butt crack, boobs, hickeys, etc. I guess they are wearing very little clothing, which I didn't think about. Thanks for pointing that out.

Yeah I have thought of that but again Brent sees it everywhere including the damn mall. He made a comment last week walking by the stores that all the women were naked. I looked up puzzled and said what are you talking about. He pointed out that we'd just passed Victoria Secret with the posters , then Lane Bryant (yes that is the one) had women totally nude from the waist up but turned slightly this way and that so the illusion was there of seeing their breasts (and muffin tops I might add). We had passed Gap and they too had a model that the clevage was so low on it appeared her breasts were going to pop completely out. Then walking through JCPenny to leave he pointed out the models in posters there displaying the underware. So really what is the difference?
