  • Perhaps--those days are very close. It depends on factors like your particular cycle and how your pregnancy was dated (how your doctor figured out your due date--based on your period, very early ultrasound or late ultrasound?). It is possible that you conceived on 11/18 or 11/19 and you were given a DD of 8/8 if you ovulated late, your cycle was different than the "average" woman (most women's cycles aren't "average"), or if your doc calculated your DD using an ultrasound past the first several weeks of development (when fetal development is very precise and pregnancy dating is most accurate).

Remember that due dates are suggestions for when babies are to be born and most babies do not arrive on their due dates. If you're concerned about paternity, you should seek testing as soon as possible after delivery to be sure.
