I was told by a salon when my girls were twelve, and very hairy, that it was not safe to wax until they are teens because their skin is not thick enough and it can be damaging. SO my answer would be no. I did let my daughter use Nair at 12 though for her legs and pits. She has her father's thick body hair and she was really embarrassed. She had that fake razor for the Nair ad it was good practice for the real thing. At 13 I let her shave her pits and legs and at 14 I let her get her brows waxed. Now she is 17 and has three choices for her own personal hygiene and I allow her to choose. She is also a swimmer, so if she asked me to have her bikini line waxed, I would allow that.

No I wouldn't but as I also have to agree with the comment above about the eye brows. I also know that when my sister was younger she use to get picked on because of all the hair on her legs. She would come home crying because of yes our parents shaved her legs for her to stop the name calling at school. So in some cases like this one I would agree on.

I wouldn't let her get waxed. I will let her shave her underarms when she get hair there. As far as shaving legs, when I think she is old enough and mature enough and she asks me to do so, I will let her. I do use an eyebrow trimmer to trim her eyebrows because she does have some dark eyebrow hairs that grown in-between her brows... and I'm not letting her have a unibrow.
