  • You're right Jennifer. Actually we just made out our wills and our children's guardian is going to be a friend of mine. She was totally honored to be asked and would do a wonderful job if lord forbid, something happened to us.

    I made a movie of Matthew's first year for his birthday party. One thing I did realize (after watching it 20000 times while making it) is what a great life the kids have. They do not want for anything and they have many people who love them. So I just need to keep thinking of it that way and spend my time cultivating those relationships. If my dad jumps on board then great, and if not, that's got to be fine with me too.

  • As I menioned earlier, my kids only have one active set of granparents. I also only had one grandmother (except for when I was very young) and no grandfathers myself.

    I was thinking about the grandparent organizations and wondering if they have any of those in your area. What a wonderful gift it would be for all involved if you could make a connection with someone who would love to have two beautiful "grandchildren" to love.
