Default WWYD, would you call?

DS has a developmental interventionist ( therapist) that comes to the house once a week. She is a woman in her early 50's. She is the nicest most generous, sweetest person . we have only known her for about 7-8 weeks or so.

anyway, she was suppossed to come her scheduled time last thursday and she called and said her 16 year old daughter was sick and they were going to the Dr but she would still make it to my house..... Then she called back and said that it's either her appendix or an ovarian cyst and they were going to the ER.

I have not heard from her since. She is not the type of woman to just not call me if everything was ok. She calls me all the time to ask how my mom is and if we need anything. She has offered to watch my kids if my mom needed to go to the hospital.
Last week she dropped off a bunch of bags of things she is donating to DH's school ( a poor neighborhood)

SO...I made a tray of baked ziti for her for dinner tonight and I want to drop it off at her house ..she lives just a minute or two away from me on the same street but i have no idea what her address is. I tried calling her house today and left a message.

so my question is would you call her cell to see if everything is ok? I don't want to bother her especially if her DD is in the hospital but I am worried about her ..she is such a nice person. I know her DH is a cop so I was thinking upon my dad's suggestion to call the police station and just make sure everything is ok
WWYD?

I'd probably call whatever hospital, group, EI center (or whatever) that she works with Anthony through and ask them how she & her daughter are. They'd probably give you her street address too if you told them why.

Susan if she calls you often to check on your mother and things of that nature I would call her cell and talk to her personally. Sounds as if she might could use a friend.

You're such a sweet person.

i was going to call her boss ( it's a private company she works for) but i have no idea if they know she is missing sessions YKWIM? Her boss is not her favorite person from what i understand. I also don't think they will give me her address...although I have thought about asking them for it.

I think i'll give her a little time and then call her cell in a few hours.
