i have never heard of an upside down tree! although, with Lola this year that would probably come in handy.

every year each member of the family gets a new ornament..or if Michael makes one at school he usually uses that as his ornament. i still like my themed trees though...again, my OCD.

a friend of ours does a Disney tree..complete with a train track at the bottom filled with the disney characters..very cool! i was shocked to know how much it cost though.

My is themed definitely and if I get one that doesn't fit I hang it on back by the wall.

Sorry I'm OCD that way and I have way too much money in my ornaments to mess the tree up with a hodgepodge of stuff.

I have gold mostly and I've been collecting them for years. My kids do get ornaments each year in their stocking and I put them here and there around the tree but I'm collecting them for them and they will be theirs when they leave home. All oddball ornaments are put on the kids tree upstairs that they bring home from school.

We have a hodgepodge of ornaments.

I used to try to have a color theme but now its a Hodgepodge.
